Description
President George Bush once called John Walker Lindh, an ex-American Taliban fighter from Marin “some misguided Marin County hot-tubber.” Marin County, an affluent area mixed with deep “hippie” roots just north of San Francisco is home to Sausalito, Muir Woods, as well as many small, picturesque and historical towns ready to be explored. This tour explains the history of Marin as we make our way from town to town, stopping and spending extended time at the area’s most impressive features and sites. You will have photography opportunities at each stop and along the route. Not only do we explore cultural attractions on this tour, but along the way we discuss Marin Counties rich culinary scene and offer suggestions to help you navigate the overwhelming amount of options we have in this restaurant mecca. We have eaten everywhere and encourage you to take notes, especially on the suggestions we will offer for extended fun and things to do after the tour!
