The fertile soil of the Bay Area has attracted farmers, ranchers, and general populations for thousands of years. These farmers and ranchers have provided fruit, vegetables, dairy and most famously, wine! With a soaring population now well into the tens of millions, agriculture continues to play a key role in local life, including supplying food to the Bay Area’s world class culinary scene. This tour introduces you to life on working farms and ranches, allowing for a greater understanding and appreciation of your food and the people behind it. You will have the opportunity to try a variety of fresh food and delicacies on site as well as interact with cute, 2-4 legged farm residents. Should you wish to purchase any additional items from any of our stops, a cooler will be provided to keep all perishable items cool.
